It rolls
The only rack on this shelf that does.
The other six are furniture. Once a rack holds 150 kg of iron it does not get
moved — it gets emptied, moved, and refilled, which in practice means it never
moves at all.
Four castors change that completely. A loaded rack is pushed against a wall to
free the floor, pulled out to train, pushed back afterwards.
And they lock, which is the part that makes it usable: a rack that rolls
when a dumbbell is pulled off it would be worse than a fixed one.

this sits in the middle.
For a rack that moves, it is a sensible place to be: everything above it on
this shelf is fixed, and mass is what makes a fixed rack stable.

That is a different product from the rest of this family. Every other listing
here is a dumbbell rack; this one is gym storage that dumbbells go on — which
matters in a shared room where the kettlebell, the mat and the bands are also

A garage that is not heated goes through condensation cycles all winter, and
that is where a plain painted frame starts rusting at the welds.
