What the maker publishes

  • Ø approximately 37 cm, weighing approximately 300 g
  • A core of high-grade fibreglass, stated to keep its shape under intensive continuous use
  • A rubberised, durable sheath for pleasant handling; colour anthracite
  • Soft foam grips on both sides, stated to protect against pressure points whether the ring is guided between the hands, knees, thighs or ankles
  • An even, springy resistance when pressed together, named for core, pelvic floor, adductors, chest and arms
  • Intensity controlled purely through press strength, holding times and movement duration — no added weights
  • Developed in Germany

Core and sheath, both named

The only listing on this shelf that names both.

Three rings here say fibreglass and stop. One says rubberised and says nothing about what is underneath. This one gives the structure: a fibreglass hoop inside a rubber skin.

That pairing is what the ring actually is. The fibreglass provides the resistance and keeps the shape; the rubber provides the grip on skin and stops the hoop marking a knee.

Four positions, and the grips as the reason

Hands, knees, thighs, ankles.

The maker names all four and gives the soft foam grips as what makes each of them bearable. That is a better account than listing muscle groups, because the muscle worked follows from where the ring is placed.

The honest sentence about intensity

“The load is controlled purely through press strength, holding times and movement duration — without heavy additional weights.”

That is the truthful description of every ring in this family, and it explains the shelf’s central absence.

A ring has no settings. It is one stiffness, and how hard the session is depends entirely on how hard it is squeezed and for how long.

Which is also why not one of these seven listings publishes a resistance figure — and why the hoop thickness, published by exactly one competitor, is the only number that would let two rings be ranked.

Left off the listing

The hoop thickness. The grip dimensions. A resistance figure.
