It matters because they are not independent. A 12 m rope at 35 mm weighing 10 kg is a denser fibre than a 12 m rope at 38 mm weighing the same — and with all three published, that can be worked out rather than guessed.
The PROIRON here publishes a mass too, at 38 mm; between them they are the only two ropes on this shelf whose weight is known before it arrives.
The thinnest here, and the maker sells it as suiting every hand size rather than treating it as a compromise.
That is a defensible position. Grip is what ends a battle rope set for most people, and a thinner rope is held for longer. A 50 mm rope — the only other option in this family — makes the grip part of the exercise instead.

It does not supply the anchor. Nor do three of the four other ropes here, and looping a rope round a post wears it at the turn.

It is the thinnest in this family, where 38 mm is standard and one competitor offers 50 mm. The maker states it suits every hand size, which is the practical consequence — a thinner rope is easier to grip for longer, and grip is frequently what ends a set.
The maker describes fixing the rope at its middle to a tree or an anchor point and taking both ends. No anchor is supplied, which is true of four of the five ropes here — the GORILLA SPORTS includes a wall mount.
The maker states the speed and rhythm of the waves determine it. That is correct and it is why a battle rope has no resistance setting — the effort is entirely what the user puts in, against a fixed mass.
